This is a small project run by Portland-area dog people. We're starting where we live — Portland metro, then the Willamette Valley, then wherever there are dog owners tired of empty-park runs.
Your phone knows when you're at a dog park. @park uses that to check your dog in — no button-tapping, no separate app to open. Your friends see who's out. You see who's out. Coordination that normally takes a group text just happens.
Nothing is public. Friend graph is mutual — both sides have to agree before either can see the other. No "followers." No strangers watching your park routine.
We're not selling anything, at least not to you. The app is free. No ads. No dog-food referral partnerships. If it works and grows, we'll figure out a business — probably by getting acquired by someone who already sells dog stuff.
